Jira Service Desk - Software not showing up

Hello.

I am using Jira 7.3.9 and jira Service Desk 3.5.3 (server).

I am the admin.

When I try to create a project (Projects -> Create Project) I don't get Any Software Project to choose. Why is that? And how can I enable it.

I only have the options to create Service Desk and Business Projects.

Is Jira Software Installed and is a valid license present? You need to have Jira Software installed.

Please check under Cog icon -> Applications to find out.

In Applications I have this:

JIRA Service Desk 3.5.3 ---->  Trial expires31/Mar/18

JIRA Core 7.3.9      

I installed Service Desk through downloading the Jira Service Desk .exe file in Atlassian website.

In this case Jira Software is not installed.

Jira Service Desk and Jira Core don't come with Jira Software. It is a separate product. If you want it, install in your jira, also possible in the application administration.

If your Jira Server can reach the internet, go again to Applications, there should be an option to download Software and add it to your Jira.

If you currently work with a Jira Core License you should upgrade it to a Jira Software license.
