I have two Jira Automation rules. When I add label manually (instead of first rule doing so), the second rule works. When label is added automatically by the first rule, the second rule does not work.
1. Adds label of a sub-task key to the parent
2. Adds another label to another ticket that is linked.
There is a tick-box that you need to check so that a rule can be triggered by another rule. Can you verify that is indeed checked?

Hi @Krzysztof Achinger - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Sometimes it is just a timing issue. The first rule hasn't finished with the values before the second one fires.
May try adding a new action for Re-fetch Issue in the first rule after the update.

Hi John, yes, I was also considering this problem but in the end it was just that simple checkbox to allow one job to be trigger by another, as pointed earlier by Jack.
I am amazed by the speed of answers in this community. Awesome!
