Licensing two servers

Shimshey Rosenberg October 30, 2018

Quick licensing question..

We use Jira in-house for our employees.

We want to deploy a new instance in the cloud (self-hosted, not Jira Cloud) for customers to raise Service Desk tickets, as  well as KB articles.

My question is if this violates any T&C as they will be licensed for the same entity, or the license is on a per-machine/per-server basis, and I will not need a bigger license.

(For instance, our in-house we have a 3 agent license server, and on the new instance I want another 4-5 agents. Do I need to purchase a 10 user? or only an additional 4-5?)

The licence is per-server.  You will need to get a new licence for the new Cloud server, for your 4-5 new agents.

How long is it allowed to be on this screen? "Initializing the plugin system - Don't worry, I'm still working..."

Hello,

You need to buy a separate license for your Cloud sef-hosted instance .

You need to buy additional license for 4-5 users.
