Logic app add comment returns 404

Bennett Caldwell September 6, 2023

Hello all,

Newbie here, trying to use logic apps in MS Azure to comment on an existing ticket created before logic app. The app pulls in info from sharepoint list and one of those values is the issue key. Then it does its actions and tries to POST a comment to the ticket via the ticket key.

I have connected to Jira via OAuth and through API token from my logic app and both return a 404. I have tried just the ticket key and the url for the ticket on both and same results.

Does anyone know what hole I'm stepping in?

You haven't provided enough information to know what you are trying to do or what problem you are running into.

* What is "logic apps"?

* Are you trying to connect Jira to Sharepoint?

* Is this Cloud or Server?

* Are you trying to make a REST call or something else?

Logic apps is a service in MS Azure that operates similar to power automate. There is a section of Jira commands I can run and so I have linked the specific app I created to Jira through the listed authentication methods.

No I have connected my app to pull from sharepoint and then in turn use variables from that pull to push into a comment within Jira

This is all cloud based

I am not sure, I am just trying to POST a comment
