Received an endpoint from Service now

Bindiya Vikram Naik May 18, 2021

I am working on Integration between Jira and snow. I have received an end point from snow side. Now where in Jira do I execute this endpoint. Do I need to use Automations? But how?

It depends on when you want to reach out to service now to poke this endpoint.

What are you doing in Jira that would make you want to do this call?

After issue created at Jira. Once status is changed to in-progress it should create an issue at snow side.

Ok, then create a webhook in Jira that picks up on "issue created".  Get started with that at https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/webhooks/
