I've had to uninstall and re-install a couple of times, and now my Jira Software licence key does not work. After the re-install, I accidentally pasted in the old server ID in the licence portal, and the generated licence key doesn't work.
I'm totally stuck, and I cannot open a ticket because this is Jira Software Starter.
Note, I also have Jira Service Desk installed, with a valid, working licence key.
@ChalkyNZ Generate a new license key using the new Server-ID in the license portal and it should work.
or you need to change the Server ID in your JIRA database in order to make your existing license key work. Please see this document for instructions on how Server ID can be modified in JIRA database. NOTE: Please backup your JIRA database and home directory for safety purposes, before making any changes to JIRA database directly.

Hmmm, I can't see any mechanism for generating a new licence key. My portal shows current key, but nothing to generate or re-generate. Can you post screenshot of that? Will look at server ID in DB only if I must.

If you have an Atlassian ID, you can login to my.atlassian.com and then try to generate an evaluation license for the required Atlassian product.
