Reporter and assignee fields in request form

I have the field "Reporter Field" in the "Work item view" in the CONTEXT FIELDS, but...

Even though I can put the "assignee field" in the Request form, it is not possible to add the "Reporter Field" field in it.

How can I solve?

Hello @Sebastian Santoyo

Why do you want to add the Reporter field to the Request Form that will be presented in the Customer Portal?

When a request is opened through the Customer Portal the Reporter is set to the person filling out the form. It is not possible for a Customer to fill out the request on behalf of another Customer and change the Reporter as part of that process.

Only a Service Team Member is able to raise a request on behalf of another person.

Thanks for the clarification Rudy...

In my process there are tasks in which there is a person who is doing the task (ASSIGNEE). But I need a responsible supervisor to look after the subordinate (I realize it cannot be the REPORTER).

What field can you recommend me for the supervisor instead of REPORTER?

A person filling out a request through the Customer Portal is not going to be shown the Assignee field. That field is visible only in the Work Item View.

A person filling out a request through the Customer Portal is not going to be able to set any User Picker/People field that is part of the Work Item View, even if you put the field into the Request Form. Customers don't have access to those fields. Only JSM agents have access to those fields.

The only user picker type fields that Customer can modify is Request Participants, and they do this indirectly by using the Share option to add people to the field.

I am confused about your use case. Can you explain it in more detail?

What sort of request is being made?

What is the role of the person making the request?

Why would that person need to set the Assignee for the request?

Why would that person need to specify a "supervisor"?

In this scenario, who is the "subordinate"?

Thanks Trudy, after all I decided to use the project sponsor role for this and it works for the supervisor. As you and other people told me, the reporter cannot be selected
