Script to open window

I want to have a column on my kanban/scrum board that when a move a issue to that column the edit window will popup so I can specify the assignee.
Is it possible?
Tried some solutions with Scriptrunner but havent got close to the solution I want.

You should create a screen with the assignee field and attach the screen to the required transition. Each column is linked to a status. That is why you should find the transition which leads from the first column status to the second one and attach the screen to the transition. You do not need any plugins. It is an out of the box functionality.
