When we receive a problem by email, we create a ticket in Jira with the email. Our IT mailing list is then written to BCC and we always receive notifications when this ticket is processed/closed.
How can I stop receiving notifications for this mailing list? I don't want to switch off the notifications for all customers, but only for the distribution list.
Is it somehow not possible to distinguish between normal notifications and who is on a distribution list?
Have you looked into the product settings of your personal profile? You can toggle notifications there.
Edit - sorry, that will not help you, since it will have an effect on all lists.
Hello @Antonia
What is your current setup for your Internal notifications in your JSM project (Project Settings > Notifications), specifically when the issue is closed?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
I have currently turned off all settings because of this problem. But otherwise I would have had the yellow highlighted setting activated.

These notifications are being applied to all customers - even the ones who are involved in the distribution list.

So there is no way to remove the mailing list from the notifications? Or could I log in to Jira with the distribution list and switch off the notifications?

When it comes to distribution lists, the notifications cannot be avoided, see: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-Service-Management/Emailed-requests-and-distribution-lists/qaq-p/2928689
Jira doesn't know which users shouldn't be notified from the distribution list.

You can try with the personal settings, as I haven't done this myself.
