I am trying to add all the fields which are there in create issue screen of the project to request types of the project, I am able to add only 8 fields to request types. I want to add still more fields to request types , the fields which i am going to add are on the create issue screen, but still I am not finding those fields on request types "add field" option.
Is there any configuration need to change in jira service desk to add more fields in request types?

Can i ask one thing which type of custom field you want to add on customer.portal?
If its Group picket, version picker then right now there no way to add these fields on the portal and the support ticket also raised by the user for the same.
There are some field that you can not add to the portal and won't appear in the in the "Add a field" dialog:

Some of the fields like Subject, Grade, Category, Levels. These fields are select list single choice type of custom fields.
Is there any restriction on adding limited number of custom fields on request type?

As these fields are multi-level custom fields hence not possible to add to postal.
