Size of "Select List (multiple choices)" field

Good afternoon Colleagues!

Is there a legal way to increase the default width of Select List (multiple choices) field on the sub-task created screen?

Long values do not fit in it.

Step to reproduce:

1. Create field with type above and values

My long values are cut here when they longer then field width 1
My long values are cut here when they longer then field width 2
My long values are cut here when they longer then field width 3

2. Lokate it on the sub-task created screen

3. Try to create sub-task

It is strange, but on the issue created screen it is ok:

Edit screen also is ok.

I don't know what you mean by 'legal'.  The only way to increase a field size is to modify the source code. When you do that ALL the fields that use that type will be resized. Also, any time you upgrade JIRA you'll need to modify the code again, which may not be in the same location in the next release.  There may be a plugin which may or may not be updated for the next release of JIRA.

By 'Legal' I mean the way without modifying the source code) And as you said there is not.

Do you think it is a bug and should I raised a support ticket to clarify this?
