Hello, I know the statuses used on a ticket are stored within the history tab of a ticket but I would like to see if there is a means to have a field (multiselect or free form) where I can use an automation to store a status when it is used on a ticket. Looking for one concise place to see the statuses used.
Yould would need to create a multi picker field for that, but you'd need to manually update the options available to the field if the workflow statuses change.
@Kian Stack Mumo Systems Thank you, this was my concern. So I can create a picker field and select values as it moves through workflow but there is no means of using automations to select the picker values as it progresses through the workflow?

You should be able to use automations to set the value, but if you were to modify your workflow (say add a new status called "Escalated"), you'd need to go into that custom field and create a new option called "Escalated".
