I cannot determine what is going on with my service desk fields!
I have it on some of my request types and it has disappeared on a few. I re-indexed but cannot find the screen that will allow me to update the field descriptions:

Hi Preston, have you gone into project settings > request types and then click on Edit fields for the request type where a field is missing? In there check and see if the field is actually included in the specific request type. Each request type must define the desired fields and set them to required/optional?
Thank you. I knew it was going to be somewhere right in front of me. It makes it difficult when there are a hundred ways to find something, except the thing you need right away.
