Hi,
we have a rule, it is only now on Read Only, created by our administrator.
This rule is a Multiple project rule, and we do not have permission to change it (Read Only).
Question: if I ask the administrator to set me as the Actor/Owner for the rule, will I be able to change the rule?
I have permission to access both projects with my user, which are in the scope of the rule anyway.
Thank you
The short answer is no, currently it is only Jira admins that can change global automations (automations that has a scope that spans multiple projects). Atlassian is working on making the admins permissions more granular, so hopefully this is something that is considered too. I did a quick search but could not find a suggestion for it, so you can contact support and have them add it as one.
I believe these suggestions are related to what you are describing:
Kind regards,
Bill
