Hi Experts,
Need your help in below request.
We have one template project name ABC which have 1000 of task ( template tasks). Whenever we a create a new project using shared configuration ( copy Project ABC configuration). Along with Configuration, user wants 1000 tasks also get copied in a new project.
I have tested via jira project automation like after project creation trigger a manual automation , received an error message limit exceed.
Kindly any other alternate of copying issues along with project configuration.
Thanks
Hi @Vikrant Yadav ,
Templates will only copy over the settings but not the issues, for cloning the issues, you will need to use the csv import option or a 3rd party plugin.
Adding reference to both of them below:

"Project Template" are included across all plans, and so is the Import of issues.
Only thing that would cost you a little more would be the 3rd party plugins

Thanks, @Jehan Bhathena Yes, with Jira Enterprise we don't copy Source project issue. Only option with Plugin is create issue via CSV.
Project automation doesn't work in my case ?
May i know the limit of Project automation how many issue it can create in single run ?

When you create a project with a shared configuration, Jira only copies the settings – it leaves every issue/work item behind. The same is the case for the Jira Enterprise exclusive Custom Project Template feature. If you’d like those 1,000 template tasks to appear in every new project, our app Deep Clone for Jira can help you with its Project Clone feature. We even have a detailed written guide for your use case.

@Vikrant Yadav I agree with @Jehan Bhathena there is a very powerful Atlassian Marketplace App to help with both configuration and issues.
All the best
