I can see a small number of our jira service desk customers under 'people' with the role of jira service desk customer, but not all of the users I have added - If I go to customers I can then see all of them,
What's the difference and what can those who are added under 'people' see ?
Thanks,
Nick.
Hi @Nick Lucey , what you see under Customers is not necessarily those customers that have been added to the specific project. You could be seeing customers that have been added to your instance under other projects. What you see under People are those users that have been added to the specific project? Or, at least that's how it should be. If you want a customer to be part of a project, you can add them under people.
Hi @Jack Brickey If they are set under people, does that mean they can access only via the portal, or will they be able to login and access information actually within jira also?

Only Licensed users with Browse permissions in the project will have access to Jira. What exactly is your goal/use-case?

@Jack Brickey I'm just not sure why those who are under 'people' are in there. I have added a series of customers to an organisation (about 20-25 people) 3 of those have appeared under 'people' and I'm not sure why, or what they can see
