You don't have permission to transition this work item

I have an issue with few projects, In some of the projects some request type has an error when iam trying to change the status of that request , error is  "You don't have permission to transition this work item" while i have given every permission , even changed the issue type changed the workflow too , but still iam facing this issue what to do , could anyone help in this ?

There could be multiple reasons why you are receiving this error while attempting to transition an issue. I would request you to refer to this Atlassian article, this will help

Hi @Star Support Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

The transitions in a workflow (the arrows) can also have a pre-condition that has to be met to allow a transition. Please check that by editing the workflow, clicking on diagram layout, then click on the transition arrow that you're trying to accomplish. You can then select properties and review the pre-conditions to that transition.

Hello, I have even changed the workflow too , still the status is at the same work in progress & i can change it
