Components should always be auto-populated once a new project is created. There is a particular set of components that every project should have and whenever a new project is created we have to add it manually, is there a way it can be done automaticlly?

Hi @Priyanka khare

in case you have Apps available this will be possible.

I had an use case linke this where "Copy Project" Built-In Script of ScriptRunner worked out fine:
https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/builtin-scripts.html#_copy_project

You can optionally copy components using this to your project which is to be created/cloned.

Cheers,
Daniel

You should consider creating a project template and use that when creating a new project. Disclaimer, I am on Cloud and not sure if this is available on Server but expect it is. When I create a project I have the option to base the new project on an existing project.

Hello @Jack Brickey ,

I tried it and it did not copy the components. Do u know any other way? for JIRA server.

unfortunately I do not. I was assuming components would come over but have not confirmed for myself and it seems at least for server it does not. :-(
