Hi there,
as you know in case an jira automation (J4A) fails only the owner of the automation will be notified.
I am looking for a solution to notify the entire team instead. As already double checked with atlassian support for now the only option is to use a separate user. (please do not start a discussion if it make sense to sent the failed-info to the team !)
In order to test this correctly I need to cause an automation to fail
thanks in advance for your bug suggestions ^^
easy one:
just manual trigger and action to edit the issue field
here just use the JSON default - only change is required at "custom field name" => changed it to "acceptance check" (which is an custom field in our environment)
Hi @felix.weber
There is an open suggestion to add group ownership of rules, which would allow notification on failures to the group: https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-2009
Kind regards,
Bill
