I created a custom text field [type Text Field (single line)], but when I search for an info based on this field in the search field, the result is null.
I am working in the cloud, with Jira Work Management.
If you have an idea, please let me know.

You can perform an issue search on this field and add the custom field as a column in your search results. You can then save the search results as a filter and use the filter. Or add the filter to a dashboard.
