updating issue type then moving to another project

When updating issue type on issue then moving to another project I get the below message and although I've removed Creator Field from issue type screens, I continue to get the below.

Hi @Dorothy Callahan,

The screens aren't what control if the value is retained it's the field configuration.  If an issue had a value set when a field existed on a screen and the screen is removed the value is still present in the issue's metadata it simply isn't visible to users.

However, if you "hide" a field in the field configuration it won't retain values for that field anymore.

I think that's what you are seeing in this message.

Thanks so much Jimmy.  I removed Creator from field configuration and that resolved issue!
