We would like to restrict the views and access in Service Desk between users of different projects that we currently manage with different hotel chains.
Now we have projects from different chains, and even different projects for the same hotel chain on the home page of the service desk panel (xxxxxx.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals).
We would like to only allow those users, who belong to that specific project, to be able to see only their project board and create new issues on it, restricting the ability to view or edit projects that are not theirs. Right now if someone access our Service Desk is able to see all projects and even could open a ticket on them.
Could you please advise us about the procedure to do it?
Thanks in advance,
@Alfredo Chiaramonte , is this for Jira or JSD? If the later and you are trying to restrict Customer’s access then the article Ajay mentions is a good place to start. If the former and you are trying to restrict Jira users then this is fundamental to Jira and is controlled through project Permissions and filter/board Shares. Here are some articles specific to Cloud. I have included info on NG project in case you are using that project type.
