Hi @arizal_bukalapak_com ,

Such an error can occur because of a large export size. You can try a smaller export. Or you can also use a different browser.

If the error repeats, it is better to raise a support ticket with Atlassian

If you need to export Jira issue history or custom reports, you might also take a look at the Issue History for Jira app from my team. It allows you to export changes (including status, assignee, comments, etc.) to CSV, XLSX, or PDF, and is more stable for larger datasets.

That specific '404' error can happen with Atlassian’s Jira Cloud for Sheets. A few things you can try on your side:

  • Check browser session & permissions: Sometimes it’s just a stale login. Log out of both Jira and Google, clear your cache, then log back in and try the export again.
  • Limit the dataset: The native integration often fails if too many issues or too many fields are being exported in one go. Try reducing the number of fields or rows and see if the export works.
  • Check for account mismatch: Make sure the Google account you're logged into is the same one authorized for the Jira - Sheets integration.

If you need something more reliable and flexible, our team at Mobility Stream provides a Google Sheets Integration for Jira that works differently:

  • Exports directly through Jira APIs (no dependency on Atlassian's connector).
  • Supports real-time sync, scheduled sync, or one-time exports.
  • Handles all Jira fields and data, including Assets, Forms, Tempo data, and custom fields.
  • Bi-directional sync, send updates from Google Sheets back to Jira
  • Much more stable for large datasets.

You can find the documentation here if you'd like to see details.

If you'd like, feel free to reach us at support@mobilitystream.com. We're happy to guide you through setup or answer more detailed questions.

Kind regards,

Hey @arizal_bukalapak_com ,

Can you just clarify if you're using the native export option from Jira search/filters > this?
Or is it one of the apps/integrations for Google or Microsoft?
There are also Marketplace solutions for more advanced exporting.

If you can share a screenshot, that would be helpful as well to try to troubleshoot this or point you in a specific direction.

Cheers,
Tobi
