Submit issue to jira from confluence

Hello,

Is it possible to have a generic form in confluence that will submit bug/feature requests to jira?

I understand that you can do something similar by editing a page and "inserting an issue" but I'd like it to be more of a "contact page" style form to make it easy for anyone to submit issues.

1. This is a feature from the JIRA Issues Macro, in Confluence 3.5:

2. You could build a plugin to use JIRA's Remote API.
3. Lastly, another way to do it is simply to use a form to pass post parameters. For example, have a look at the Studio create support ticket link: https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa. From the footer of that page, look at the URL for 'Create support ticket'. You can see that all the parameters are filled in. You still have to click submit after you enter your values (for the full solution, I suspect you'd want to build a Confluence plugin that uses the JIRA remote API). To make a form in Confluence, you have a couple choices:
   1. Enable the HTML macro and add HTML directly into the page: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/HTML+Macro
   2. Create a User Macro that renders the HTML you want, then add that macro to the page: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Writing+User+Macros

The third option will be my best bet, as I would be able to directly integrate it into my end-user applications without confluence.
