when we create a subtask and assign it to some user , email does not go through but as a workaround we have to assign it to ourself and then assign it to a other user, this way email seems to go through. What is wrong! any Idea??
Current assignee is supposed to get an email notification according to our notification scheme...
If this only occurs in the issue type Substaks, probabily your subtask have a workflow where the "Create" step trigger a event diferent of "Issue Created" and your notification scheme of this event don t fire a notification to the Current Assignee.

Post Functions (3) |
Creates the issue originally.
— THEN
Re-index an issue to keep indexes in sync with the database.
— THEN
Fire a Issue Created event that can be processed by the listeners.
