Unable to acquire License for free trial

I have downloaded Adaptavist ScriptRunner for JIRA to try the free trial.  I click on the Free Trial button, click on the Accept button to accept the end user license agreement but when I enter my email and password to request the licence, a pop-up box appears saying something along the lines of "Requesting licence details..." before disappearing and then returning to the enter email and password box.  When I re-enter my email and password nothing happens and kicks me back to the add-on page.

Any ideas on why I am getting this issue and/or how to fix it?

Alternately,

• log into my.atlassian.com
• go to https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6820/scriptrunner-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview
• Click on "Try it free"
• Generate the evaluation
• Go to add-ons section of Jira and paste the license to the add-on's area
