Hi @Yakesh Kumar

just to add to @Nikola Perisic's answer: If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you'll find options there.

Just as an example, this is how this would look in the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira:

last-updated-by-user.gif

For context, JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of so-called smart columns that aren’t natively available, including last updated by user

As you can see above, you can easily sort and filter by last updated by user, and also use it across JXL's advanced features, such as support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.

This just works, so there's no scripting or automation whatsoever required.

Any questions just let me know,

Best,
Hannes

Hello @Yakesh Kumar ,

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

This field by default does not exist in Jira. You would have to create a custom field that will have the user picker value. After you are done with it, the easiest way is to add this field in the "Layout" within your project settings.

Also, when the issue is being created you want to make sure this field is showing. To do this, when creating issue, click on three dots and then "Show fields". When you select this option go for the "Custom fields" within the "All fields" dropdown menu, then check your "Updated by" custom field.

Hope this helps.

BR,

Nikola
