We are currently in the middle of an AD migration, and to complicate things we are also changing usernames at the same time. In order to make the transition as painless for the user as possible, we switched the username to be our email addresses. Now to my question, this morning I started to notice that some users shows up twice when searching on their names. The only difference is the display name, and it is only on a subset of users. My only explanation is that these subset of users just used their new usernames instead of the email address when trying to log on and now there is an entry somewhere in a table that if referencing the new user name. I checked the cwd_user table and everything looks good in there. Just wanted to check and see if someone else have ran into this issue before.
