Hi,
users/agents are unable to find the tickets when they provide the numbers/text in the search box? I have a custom field with values in it.I want to search a ticket by that value of a custom field. Can anybody help

@Shaan, it is possible, that the custom field was not set to be indexed when created?
Goto the custom field page and click on edit of your specific custom field. Then there is a select list named 'Search Template'. If it is 'None' the field is never searched.
