Why in Kanban Board view is it not broken up by User Assigned?

Hello, was there a recent update in which JIRA was changed so that the view was no longer broken up by which user was assigned each task? Where can I go to reinstate this view?

Hi @Samantha Spilak 

Did your board previously show swim lanes by assignee?

If so, you can enable that with: Board Settings > Swim lanes > Base swim lanes on Assignees.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the response! I went on vacation for a couple weeks and when I came back the board was updated to this assignee-less view, not sure what happened. Back to normal now, thanks for the advice.
