This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Manage users and groups
Hi,
we are using JIRA cloud account and we we are around 150 users as of now and we would like to enable "Portfolio for JIRA" add-on only for 10 15 users, how to configure the same because once we enable the add-on by default its available for all the 150 users which we do not want.
please advise.
Regards,
Sarma
Hi, Mohammed - you can achieve this via permissions: if you go to JIRA Administration > Add-ons > Portfolio Permissions you can change the user group for "Portfolio User" per default it is "jira-users" which means everyone will have access. You can put your 15 users you want to grant access to into a separate JIRA group, and use this group as Portfolio users, then for everyone else the Portfolio menu entry will not be visible at all.

Hi Martin,
we have done the suggested change of creating a new user group - "portfolio-user" and assigning those users to the group.
however we were not able to achieve what we are looking at- because by default if we create an user and assign him the permission of JIRA-Developer is getting added and same count is increasing same as JIRA software users.
