is Windows Server core 2016 with Jira Service Desk

I see in the documents that Windows Server Nano is not supported but what about Windows Server Core 2016 ? is that supported ?

If it's not listed, it's not supported.  What that means is that it MIGHT work, but if you file a support ticket and they find out you are running it on a non supported OS you will receive limited support.

 

Checking the documentation, JIRA Server does show that Windows is Supported.  It does not say anything about Nano or Server however.

 

  • JIRA is a pure Java-based application and should run on any supported operating system, provided that the JDK / JRE requirements are satisfied.
