Reg - licenses for user in Cloud.

Hi Team,  Greetings!!

JIRA, Confluence, JSM - Cloud Subscription. 

Currently, my company is using Jira & Confluence for 600 users and JSM for 200 users. 

We planning to reduce license for JIRA & Confluence to 400 users and increase JSM for 300 users. 

• Maximum our users usage in JIRA & Confluence is 350 users and JSM 250 agents. 

Question: 

1. Is it possible to reduce jira and confluence users count from 600 to 400?
2. Is it possible to increase JSM to 300 users?
3. Do we need to wait for next billing date (Nov 2024) for reduce and increase licenses?

Have you tried contacting Atlassian's Billing, Pricing & Licensing team directly concerning these questions?

I believe you will have to wait until the end of your current license agreement to decrease you user tier. You will, of course, have to ensure that you reduce the actual users that currently have licenses to ensure it is below the new tier.

However, I believe you should be able to increase your JSM user tier prior to that.
