Hello,
I am using JIRA cloud. I have multiple resolved status mapped to the Done column on JIRA board.
For example, a User story can be moved to Archive or to Accepted from Testing. When i am trying to drag a story to Done, it shows To Archive and Accept Issue in the same sequence, but i want that Accept Issue should come on top and Archive should be sequenced second.
Also check the screenshot.
Can you tell me how i can do that?
Hi Ankita,
In my testing of this I tried to change the order directly in the board configuration, however this is not being honored. I also thought perhaps I could follow the Advanced workflow configuration: Customize how transitions appear in order to change the order of the transition as it appears (using the opsbar-sequence property).
However this only changes the way the transition appears on the issue detail view, it does not appear to have any effect on the order in which these status appear on the board itself.
Sorry there does not appear to be a clear work-around for this at this time, but it appears that this is actually a bug in both Jira Software Cloud and Server. I would recommend watching the associated bug ticket for your platform.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-16086
or
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-12944
Should this be fixed by a code change, or some other work-around become available to make this work, then I would expect those issues to be updated to reflect this.
Regards,
Andy
Hi @Ankita Sharma!
It might be due to the Status global order.
You may test it by going to yourjira/secure/admin/ViewStatuses.jspa and sending the desired status all the way up or down.
If it works for you, then check this article out. It suggests JMeter to make it easier to reorder status without hundreds of mouse clicks :-)
