Restrict comment on projects

Hannah Palmer November 20, 2018

I'm having a few issues being able to restrict comments. I want to set Jira up so the developers can talk to each other without the client seeing. I have set up a group:

I have then gone into the project and edited the permission so this group can add comments:

I have added myself into the group, however it hasn't worked:

Thanks!

Hello,

Go to System -> System Info and set comment visibility to roles and groups.

Hello,

Thank you, I have competed this however I still can't see the group I created. I can see the following:

Pic1 -2.PNGBut the only groups I have are:

Capture.PNG

I'm guessing I need to create a group and not a project? But I'm not to sure where I do that?

Thanks,

Hannah

You can read here how to create a group:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/view-create-or-delete-a-group-861253186.html

You should add your user to this group.
