Dear Jira Experts,
Thank you for taking the time to read my question. Is there a way to configure a Jira group so that the users in this group can access only a specific asset (via More -> Assets), such as an asset related to CRM?
My manager wants the users to have access only to this CRM asset. Additionally, she would like the users to not see other tabs on the top navigation bar, such as Dashboard, Projects, Issues, Boards, and Plans. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to achieve this configuration.
Thank you in advance!
Hi @Kevin Lu
No there is no restriction option based on specific assets.
Permission on assets is based on an object schema, so you only option is to have an object schema with all CRM objects adn grant this group access to see this schema only.
Other question see the following article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-hide-elements-in-jira-server-and-data-center-using-css-or-javascript-958774526.html
Dear Marc and the Atlassian Jira Team,
Thank you for your speed reply. I have a created a permission scheme for this group, now, which permission do I add to this permission scheme so this group can only access Assets under More (More -> Assets)?
Thanks!
