Restriction options for comments has disappeared on tickets

Has anyone found how to set restrictions on comments in the latest update of Jira? 

We used to have the option to type the comment then choose who could see it. 

I have been searching for it for a good few hours.  This is really key for our team.

So you're looking for this:

And currently you only have:

comment-jsd.png

Is that right? If so, I'm afraid you can't have the group/role restriction on top of JSD ones, see the feature request:

You can vote for the feature request and watch it to be updated.

Thanks for your warm welcome and your reply!  

I am looking for the restrictions on the Jira service desk. We have groups such as Admin, Anyone, Developers etc.

Are you on Server or Cloud? If your Jira URL looks like https://yoursitename.atlassian.net then you're on Cloud.

Are you searching for restrictions in Jira Core/Software (i.e., the lock icon) or in Jira Service Desk (i.e., share with customer or internal comment)?
