Retroactively add a Parent Issue Key to issues

Amy Christianson February 2, 2024

I am trying to export a query that lists issues and their parents. I can query the Epic Link, but we currently do not insert the Epic Key into our issues. So I want to retroactively insert the Epic/Parent Key into all our stories (or at least the last 6 months of stories). Is there a way to populate that field retroactively, automatically?

You can use bulk edit functionality if you want to add the same epic to all of your issues.

Use CSV import functionality if different issues links to different epics.
