Running JIRA software with Jira core

Az June 3, 2018

Hello all,

We currently have a JIRA Core installation. We have multiple users and projects and have been using this as a while.

However, I want to attempt to move a project to SCRUM instead of our usual waterfall approach. In order to do this, I need JIRA Software. This project would have <5 users.

How do I add this to our existing JIRA Core installation?

Hi Bz,

as you already have Jira Core installed and up and running, you can add additional applications through Jira's "Versions and licenses" page. Instructions on the needed permissions and the general process can be found in the documentation: Installing additional applications and version updates

Best, Max

Hello,

You should download Jira Software as an add-on and install it to your Jira Core instance. You can download Jira Software as add-on here:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213607/jira-software/version-history

The version of Jira Software must be equal to your Jira Core version.
