Selected list entries not shown when editing select list

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with select list. Some issues in our process are created in a post function script from a "parent"(note: it's not acutally a subtask) issue as a clone. In this post function the entries of a custom field select list are selected based on the "parent" issue.

The issue is created correctly, and when viewing the issue, the list entries are also selected correctly. However, on some issues, when editing the custom field select list, it doesn't show that any entries are selected, and furthermore when confirming the changes, without selecting anything, the previously selected entries all get cleared. 

Did anyone come across a similar issue? It's not a showstopper, but certainly annoying

Hi @Kevin Klesz,

A post-function script will not interfere with the Issue Edit function.

1. What third-party app you are using for the script?
2. Have you tried to replicate this behaviour with a new select list custom field?
3. If you remove the post-function script, does that solve the issue?

Hey Moga,

thank you for your reply.

Fortunately I already resolved my problem. The issue was that the projects had different contexts for the list field. I changed the script so it uses the correct context, and now everything works as intended!
