Hello, is it possible when using automation, to send an email when an issue is added to a specific team's backog in a project? Currently when trying automation it is at the project level.
What does that mean "a specific team's backlog"?
(Does it mean that each of your team has its own Scrum board and that Scrum board has its backlog turned on?)

Well, basically each Scrum board has its filter that defines which issues will appear on it. It also means that an issue can be on multiple boards, that's perfectly legal. A board is just a "display container".
Having said that, the issue is "added" to a board when it "first matches the filter of the board".
I would guess if you create an automation that:
...then it will implement the behavior you want!
