Is it possible to enable a custom text field's default value to be pre-populated and rendered in a wiki format when creating an issue? I noticed that you can easily save the plain text as the default and then hit the "preview" button when creating an issue to see the wiki formatting, but I would like it to be already rendered when the user sees the field.
Example would be having a custom field that has a template that the user can easily fill out with headings/numbers to assist them. Steps to reproduce on a bug, deployment steps for a deployment task, etc.

you can set a default in custom fields and set the formatting there.
if it doesn't work check the field configuration and set the renderer option.
Then it should work.
