Setting up Public Access to Hosted JIRA Service Desk

I have my JIRA Service Desk installed on an AWS EC2 instance. My goal is to allow our customers to access their customer portal.

http://servername:5000/Login     -- How to get to our JIRA.

http://servername:5000/servicedesk/customer/portal/2  -- Service Desk Portal

I've opened up a TCP port 5000 on the EC2 instance. What would I have to define in my JIRA installation to allow me to do this?
