Sync JIRA project permissions with HipChat rooms

Hi guys, we'd like to choose HipChat as a corporate communication platform. But would like to know if there a possibility of managing chat rooms access by JIRA Project, which is linked towards the HipChat room.

So that only users who have access to JIRA Project ABC could access HipChat room: #abc.

Is this possible?

Hi Ivan,

In general, you can make rooms private and only people who you invite would be able to access the room. We don't have functionality right now where we would sync the JIRA project permissions automatically. Quite an interesting idea though...
