Task cloning and time dependencies

When cloning a task, and need time dependencies among the sub-tasks (ie sub-task 1 needs to start 2 months before sub-task 2, and sub-task 3 always starts two weeks after sub-task 2. Is there a way to set a start date for sub-task 1 and have the rest cascade out from there?

Not automatically, no. This sounds like a customization, you'd like something that is totally out of JIRA's control. 

You could write an add-on. You could use the external API to achieve this with your own script.
