Test Executions are Read Only...Why?

When i view a test execution, i see the following warning message as a banner at the top of the page:

"Execution details are Read-only because you do not have permission to execute this Test Run or the Test is a non-executable workflow status"

I am currently not the admin of the project that is using X ray within the JIRA project but i need some points of investigation to feedback to the admin in order for the admin to grant me full access to test executions. 

Without this privilege, i am unable to log test comments, or alter the start/end dates of executions. Please Help!

Hi Umer,

To be able to execute Test Runs and modify issues, you need to have permissions to "Resolve Issues" and "Edit Issues".

Please go to your Project Settings  >> Permissions and change these:
