I want to setup alerts via sms and phone call. But I have no option to add my phone number in my managed account.
I can deactivate the managed account to make a personal account but that won't be sufficient.
Any help on how to add a phone number for alerts? The alerts now only work via the Jira app.

Are you able to find the options to add them in <yourjirasite>/jira/settings/personal/alert-notifications. ?
So you have integrated with an IDP, Microsoft or other, the admins on that side should be able to set a phone number of the user, this should be synchronised to the Atlassian side.
