I've created a new board using the scrum layout and I've added story point estimates to each card which are visible in limited views. See attachments. Unable to pull reports nor view this in the backlog view Screen Shot 2019-03-06 at 3.11.53 pm.pngScreen Shot 2019-03-06 at 3.12.01 pm.png

Hello Mandy,

welcome to Atlassian community!

Can you please confirm if you are using JIRA Cloud? If you are, can you confirm if you are using a Classic project or a next-gen project? If it is a next-gen, the following message will appear in the bottom of the left menu:

As you may not know, Next-gen and classic projects use different issue types and fields to track the issue progress:

- On Classic projects, the estimation is measured on the Story Points field (In the new issue view, it appears as Story Point Estimate due to this bug, but only in the new issue view. In the screen menu, it keeps appearing as Story Points)

- On Next-gen projects, the estimation is measured on the Story Point Estimate field (This one appears like Story Point Estimate anywhere)

That been said, I would check the following steps:

If you are using a Classic project:

1 - Make sure you have added the Story Points and not the Story Point Estimate field in your project screens (Project settings > Screens)

2 - By default, Story Points field context is applicable only for a few issue types, so you can navigate to JIRA settings > Issues > Custom fields > Click to configure the Story Points field and make sure its context is been configured to the issue type you are using in the board

3 - Navigate to your project > Project settings > Fields > Actions > Edit and check if the Story Points field is properly added to your field configuration and not hidden

4 - Make sure you have added some value to the Story Points field in your issues

5 - Navigate to your board > Board Settings > Estimation and confirm if it is properly configured to be measured in Story Points instead Original Time Estimation

If you are using a Next-gen project:

- Make sure you have added the Story Point Estimate and not the Story Points field in your project screens (Project settings > Screens)

- Make sure the Story Point Estimate is properly added to your Issue Layout

- Make sure you have added some value to the Story Point Estimation field in your issues

Let me know if this information helps, Mandy.
