Hello fellow Atlassians,

Here is the case:

I am migrating a company's Jira Software (7.3.2) to my company's Jira Software (7.13). The process that i follow is shown below.

  1. Create an .xml backup from Jira Company1 production instance
  2. Install Jira software version 7.3.2
  3. Install Jira service desk 3.3.1 ..... 3.3.2 is not available by Atlassian itself
  4. Create a test database for Jira Company1 test environment
  5. Restore the system with the native tools (not import)
  6. Install the addons
  7. Check the consistency of the system
  8. Upgrade Company1's Jira to the latest compatible running (7.13)
  9. Export again the .xml backup
  10. Go to the Companys2 Jira Software test environment.
  11. Copy the new exported backup .zip to the Companys2 test env. import folder
  12. Go to Import and Export section and select Project Import
  13. Run the tool
  14. ERRORS OCCUR :)) as always
  • The backup project 'XXX XXX' requires custom field named 'Approvals' with full key 'com.atlassian.servicedesk.approvals-plugin:sd-approvals'. In the current instance of Jira the plugin is at version '3.16.0-REL-0008', but in the backup it is at version '3.3.0-REL-0036'.

and 6-7 more issues like that.

Can someone tell me, what should i do because the only thought that i have was just to follow this process :(

If i have made something wrong then i should make the whole process from the start.

Best regards

CM
