Update notifications

Hello,

When someone updates a label on an Issue, does this count as 'Update' event and does it trigger 'Update' notification? I guess not, but is there any guideline on what triggers 'Updated' notifications in JIRA?

Is there any kind of list of every action in JIRA that user can do to trigger 'Update' notifications?

I just checked on my jira instance by updating my label and it did generate an email. So the answer is Yes.
